Welcome to Verdant Electronics
home of the Occam Process
Since 1980, Verdant Electronics has worked cooperatively with others to advance the technologies and techniques used in electronics manufacturing to reduce process time, waste, costs, and the environmental impact of electronic products.
Verdant’s now singular vision, the Occam Process, is aptly named in honor of 14th Century Philosopher William of Occam, whose words, “It is vanity to do with more, that which could be done with less,” inspired its fundamental concepts.
At its core, the Occam Process is a solder-free electronics assembly process with higher reliability than both traditional assembly processes and previous attempts at lead-free strategies. It offers a far less costly alternative to the manufacture of high-density, high-performance, high-reliability and environmentally compliant (i.e., RoHS compatible) next-generation electronics, with applications ranging from consumer to mil-aero.
